Getting Canadian Student Visa

If you plan to study in Canada, you’ll first need to obtain a study permit, which is essentially your student visa. This permit can only be applied for once you’ve been accepted by a Designated Learning Institution in Canada, such as your chosen college or university. The Canadian student visa is at 150 CAD plus 85 CAD for biometrics and you’re also likely to be requested to do medical test. After receiving your offer of admission and paying the required tuition deposit, you can proceed with the application. Once your study permit is approved, you’ll also receive electronic travel authorization (eTA), allowing you to enter Canada without any additional steps.
